Here is a sneak peek from this past weekend’s wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana.  We had such a great time this weekend with them and their family and friends.  Once they get back from their Honeymoon in Vegas we promise to post more. 

If children are a blessing than grandchildren must be a extra- special double blessing.  I am amazed sometimes when I look  back on raising my 3 children.  With all the mistakes I made as do all parents, the ups and downs and all that goes into being a parent, I am amazed that we all have made it through the process.  Their Father was not really a part of their up-bringing but they had plenty of extended family around to help.  It really is true when they say it takes a village. 

My oldest chose to walk a path that was not of my chosing.  Since I raised my young women to be strong able to think for themselves and care for themselves, I couldn’t be completly mad at her for doing just that.  Somewhere out of the chaos and wreckage that she tried to make of her life she gave me my first granchildren.  My girls are two years apart and truly the light of my eye.  They bring me joy, laughter, and most of all the chance to slow down and enjoy all the small moments and wonder of being young and discovering the world.  I relish every yummy moment I get to spend with them and I am truly a smitten grandma in love.
